Most applications British Citizenship applications are based on Naturalisation and Registration.
There are different classes of persons who may be able to apply for British citizenship. Some of these categories include, persons who hold Indefinite Leave to Remain, persons who were born in the UK and have lived here for the first 10 years of his life. Children of British Citizens and Settled Persons
Some Children of British citizens and Settled Persons that are abroad may not be entitled to British Citizenship, however if they are under the age of 18, they may still be able to join their parents in the UK.
