The requirements and documents that are needed to satisfy the requirements for this Immigration route will depend on the sub – category that you are relying on for your application.
Global Talent applications usually have two parts, including applying for an Endorsement from a relevant Endorsement body and secondly, the Immigration application which is made to the Home Office (UK Visas and Immigration).
Those who have been won a prestigious prize which is one set out in the relevant Immigration Rules, do not require an endorsement.
There is no English language requirement to apply for this visa, although you will need to satisfy this requirement when you are applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
The Global Talent Immigration category unlike the Skilled Worker route allows for those on it to change employers without applying for permission from the Home Office.
Permission to stay in the UK can be granted for up to 5 years.
Presently there is no limit on how long you can remain in this Immigration category.
This Immigration route can lead to Settlement, however how long it takes to qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain will depend on whether you applied as a person of exceptional Talent or as one with exceptional Promise.
If you require advice or assistance with your application, please do contact our Immigration Department.
