If there is a TUPE transfer, your employer should inform and consult with you about it, and you are protected from being unfairly dismissed as the result of any transfer. If you are transferring to a new employer, your terms and conditions (and continuity of employment) will also be protected. If your employer fails to adhere to the TUPE Regulations, you may be able to bring a Tribunal claim for compensation.

TUPE is a complex and technical piece of legislation, and you may have concerns or questions about whether TUPE applies to you, or whether your employer is acting lawfully. Our experienced solicitors can provide clarity and help break down your rights and possible options in a clear, simple and straightforward way.
