The Graduate Route was opened on 1st July 2021. This Immigration category is for persons who have completed a Bachelor, Masters or a Doctorate degree in the UK.

This Post – Work Study type leave is valid for a period of 2 years or 3 years. How long permission is granted for will depend on whether the degree undertaken was at Doctorate Degree level or below. Where the degree undertaken was below Doctorate Degree level, leave will only be granted for 2 years.
The Graduate Route does not require sponsorship unlike most of the work categories under the Point Based System (PBS).
One of the benefits of the Graduate Route is that those on it are not tied to one employer, so it is possible to change employer if you need to do so without permission.
