It appears Machins has been the victim of a computer hack. If you have received this email please do not click on the link and permanently delete the email. Our initial investigation shows client personal data has not been leaked. The hacker has accessed our system via Microsoft’s server and has been able to send an email from a genuine Machins email account, but it does not appear as though personal data has been exported. We are continuing to investigate and will update this message as and when there is further news.

The incident is in the process of being reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Information Commissioners Office. Please contact us if you have any specific concerns.
