Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1991. He joined Machins as a senior consultant, mediator and collaborative lawyer in 2016, having previously practised with leading practices in London and the Home Counties.

He has been endorsed by the Legal 500 and is ranked in Band 1 for the Watford, Uxbridge and surrounding areas for family law in Chambers and Partners 2018. Richard is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and is also a Member of the Law Society’s accredited family panel as well as being a trained Mediator and accredited specialist with Resolution.
