About Ian

Ian is a consultant solicitor in the Commercial Property team and joined Machins Solicitors in early 2024.

Previously he was a partner and head of commercial property at a Bedford-based practice for six years. Before that Ian was a partner with another Luton firm for 15 years.

Ian has a loyal following of clients established over his almost 25 years in practice, ranging from large companies to sole traders and acts for both landlords and tenants

Approach to work

Ian has built up a solid following over his 25 year career in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and outer London area. His style is Informal, and he tries to be a problem solver and pragmatic in the advice given as well as being driven by giving value to clients and delivering advice on time and to budget.
