Paralegal, Private Family Team
George Hanafan joined Machins Solicitors as a paralegal in our Private Family Team in July 2026.
George studied International Business Management at the University of Derby, graduating with a 2:1 degree. He then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at the University of Law in Leeds, where he achieved a commendation.
Following his studies, he worked as a Paralegal at a residential management company, overseeing company secretarial matters for a large portfolio of companies. In this role, he gained valuable experience in corporate governance, compliance, and company administration, while developing strong organisational and client relationship skills.
