About Chris

Chris is a solicitor in the Commercial Property team at Machins, based in the Luton office. He joined the firm in July 2026, bringing with him extensive experience in commercial property matters across London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2021, Chris has practised exclusively in commercial property law, advising a broad range of clients including companies, developers, investors, owners and occupiers.

Chris is committed to providing practical, commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s objectives. He takes a proactive approach to transactions and is dedicated to making the process as straightforward as possible, offering clear guidance and avoiding unnecessary legal jargon.

He began his legal career at a specialist property law firm in West London, joining as a paralegal in 2015 before completing his training and qualifying as a solicitor. During this time, he gained significant experience across residential property, commercial property and landlord and tenant matters, often acting on complex and high-value transactions in the London market. Following his relocation to Hertfordshire in 2022, Chris joined a successful regional law firm, where he developed a strong understanding of the needs of businesses and individuals across Hertfordshire, Essex and the surrounding counties.
