Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in supporting across a wide range of employment law matters, including:

  • Assist providing advisory support to clients as well as working on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
  • Support with employment tribunal matters from initial instruction through to resolution, assisting with drafting key documents, preparing cases and ensuring matters progress effectively through each stage.
  • Prepare draft witness statements and other key legal documents under appropriate supervision, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate file records, support billing processes and contribute to the efficient management and progression of client matters.
  • Undertake legal research and provide practical, commercially focused support on client matters.
  • Manging your own caseload with increasing autonomy as your expertise deepens.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Employment team, including supporting networking initiatives and business development activities.

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with a genuine interest in developing a career in Employment Law.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills alongside a commercial, solutions focused approach to client work.
  • Confident in building and maintaining client relationships, with the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and growing team.
  • Proactive and motivated, with a desire to develop technical expertise across a broad range of employment matters.
