We are seeking a talented Family Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join our highly regarded, top tier, Legal 500 ranked Private Family team at our Berkhamsted office. You will work on a varied case load of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy work, cohabitation issues and child arrangements, guiding clients through these matters with clarity and care.

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in advising a wide range of clients on a broad range of Private Family matters including:
- Managing a diverse caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation issues, child arrangements and domestic abuse.
- Handle all aspects of divorce proceedings, including filing applications, financial disclosure and responding to applications.
- Drafting witness statements, consent orders, court applications, prenuptial / postnuptial agreements and settlement proposals.
- Attending court hearings and representing clients in legal proceedings where necessary. We actively encourage our team to undertake their own advocacy where appropriate
- Delivering clear, empathetic, and practical advice to clients while maintaining the firms high standards of service.
- Progressing matters effectively while maintaining sensitivity and commercial awareness.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex, and often high-net-worth matters.

About you
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 years’ PQE in Private Family law.
- Experience across a broad range of private family matters and financial remedy work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in legal drafting and confidence in client facing interactions and courtroom advocacy.
- Confidence in building client relationships and working collaboratively with a growing team.
