About the Role

You’ll play a key role in advising a wide range of clients on a broad range of Private Family matters including:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation issues, child arrangements and domestic abuse.
  • Handle all aspects of divorce proceedings, including filing applications, financial disclosure and responding to applications.
  • Drafting witness statements, consent orders, court applications, prenuptial / postnuptial agreements and settlement proposals.
  • Attending court hearings and representing clients in legal proceedings where necessary. We actively encourage our team to undertake their own advocacy where appropriate
  • Delivering clear, empathetic, and practical advice to clients while maintaining the firms high standards of service.
  • Progressing matters effectively while maintaining sensitivity and commercial awareness.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on complex, and often high-net-worth matters.

About you

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2 years’ PQE in Private Family law.
  • Experience across a broad range of private family matters and financial remedy work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in legal drafting and confidence in client facing interactions and courtroom advocacy.
  • Confidence in building client relationships and working collaboratively with a growing team.
