After graduating from Manchester University and the College of Law, Chester, Nigel joined Williams & Company, solicitors, in Luton 1982. He qualified in February 1984 and was a partner at the same firm from 1987 until 2011, during which time he worked to develop the Private Client, Family and Conveyancing departments.
Nigel joined Machins in October 2011 to further specialise and develop his Private Client practice. He is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 1996.
Additionally, Nigel undertakes a number of responsibilities outside the office. He is a trustee of two Luton-based charities. He is the legal clerk to the Board of Appeal to Table Tennis England.
In his spare time, Nigel enjoys a wide range of interests all of which are generously tolerated by his loving family.
Following his move to Machins Nigel donated an extensive collection of law books to the University of Bedfordshire for their law department in Luton.
