About Victoria

Victoria is a solicitor in Machins family team and is based in both the Luton and Berkhamsted offices.  She qualified in July 2021, completing her two year training contract at Machins which included 18 months within the public and private family law departments.

Victoria advises on all aspects of family law, and specialises in complex private children law cases including; child arrangement applications, specific issue and prohibited steps matters and cases involving allegations of domestic abuse.  Victoria frequently advises on matters relating to divorce and financial proceedings.   She ensures her clients are presented with all of their options and will attempt to reach an agreement, where possible, outside of the court arena.

Her clients have previously praised her empathetic and pragmatic approach, attention to detail and determination to reach the best possible outcome for her clients, in a cost effective matter.

In addition to her legal work, Victoria is the Treasurer of Yres Hertfordshire, a committee that organises family law seminars and events in the Hertfordshire region.  She also co-leads the  Machins Generation20 initiative, a networking group for junior professionals within the local community.

Victoria studied law at the University of Warwick and graduated in 2016 with a 2:1.
