Lisa qualified as a Solicitor in 2004, having completed her training contract at a firm in Henley on Thames. She graduated with a law degree from Cardiff University in 2000 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in 2001. Lisa has specialised in private client work for over 15 years and during that time has gained a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of non-contentious private client work. Lisa enjoys helping individuals, their families, trustees and business-owners through complex legal issues and assisting them to protect their financial assets.
Lisa joined Machins Solicitors in March 2018, having previously practised in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Lisa has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2011. STEP is a global professional body, comprising lawyers, accountants, financial advisers and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures. Lisa is also a Dementia Friend, recognising the need to spread awareness and support those affected by dementia.
Outside of work Lisa enjoys travelling, baking and knitting.
