Strategy for Employing Migrant Workers

In this free webinar, we shall be providing advice to help employers form a strategy to fill vacancies with migrant talent.

Our Immigration Law team will examine the various visa options available and discuss case studies to help illustrate those options. We shall also discuss the strategy employers should adopt to ensure that recruitment of migrants is not overly delayed by the immigration process.

• The options available to employers for recruiting migrant works from outside the UK.
• How best to recruit migrants who are already residing in the UK.
• Outline the sponsorship licence process.
• The transition from graduate visas to other forms of visa.
• How to approach migrant works currently working for other employers.
• The consequences of employing a migrant unlawfully.

We will examine three specific scenarios to help attendees understand the practical relevance of immigration law to their businesses looking at best practice for recruiting the following:

1. A migrant who currently resides abroad.
2. A student here in the UK who is currently on a graduate visa.
3. An employee from a rival company.
