Our “Top Ten” workshop aims to keep you up to date to help you tackle employment law challenges within your respective roles.
Lawyers from Machins Employment team will focus on some of the key commercial and employee risks which businesses and their senior managers face in the workplace.
We will provide a round-up of recent cases on unfair dismissal, employee absence and disability, sex discrimination and TUPE as well as providing guidance on the GDPR; looking at employee consent, privacy, social media and monitoring and data retention. We will also look at what’s in the pipeline; Brexit, gender pay equality, parental leave, employment status and Tribunal fees.
We will work through relevant case studies, sharing our combined knowledge and experience as well as providing practical input as to how you can best protect your senior people and business. The session will be partly interactive.
The breakfast will run from 7.45am until 9.30am to allow you to get on with the rest of your working day, but there will be time for those who want to learn more or just catch up with colleagues and business acquaintances over a coffee afterwards.
