Luton CAB welcomed HRH Princess Anne
The Luton Citizens Advice Bureau was thrilled to welcome HRH Princess Anne on Monday 22 February 2016 to open their new premises in New Bedford Street.
As a long standing patron of the CAB, Princess Anne took the opportunity to visit both the Milton Keynes and Luton offices and
talk with the staff, trustees and volunteers at the centre.
The Luton CAB is one of the busiest in the country offering advice ranging from employment, debt, housing and immigration.
It helped over 32,000 people last year in Luton alone and on its first day of opening, the new premises welcomed 103 people
looking for access to their services.
Robert Bedford, Partner at Machins Solicitors is a Luton CAB trustee, “It was a great honour meeting HRH Princess Anne and showing her how the new CAB premises will offer better support and access to services in the community of Luton. We see the centre as an important part of providing help to those who really need it,”
