About Liz

Qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. Liz joined Machins in 1991 as an Assistant Solicitor and became a Partner shortly after. From November 2020, Liz became a Consultant in the Family team that specialises in representing children, parents and other family members when they become involved in court proceedings where children are considered to be at risk of harm. These cases usually arise when social services or children’s services become involved with families.

Liz also can advise parents and families when social services or children’s services are helping to support families at home.
